15/03/2026  Implement Status of the Public Service Transformation Committee among the Questions for Oral Answers

New services to expand Muara Port services; as well as recommendations to register for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' e-Register system, were among the focus of the debate of the Legislative Council sitting, 15th March 2026. The sitting began with Questions for Oral Answers submitted by the Appointed Members. Among them was the implementation status of the Public Service Transformation Committee, JTPA.

 

On the action plan to expand Muara Port services, Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications, stated that new services have been introduced, including coastal feeders, which are expected to promote the growth of the country's trade and logistics.

 

Regarding the status of the implementation of JTPA, Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence, shared that the committee has already set several focuses or areas, including the need to look at the delivery of services comprehensively based on the life cycle of the citizens and businesses.
